Our local AVP-Antelope Valley group supports both community and prison workshops.  We are currently supporting AVP Workshops at CCI-Tehachapi, CAC-California City and LAC-Lancaster prisons.  We train you to become a volunteer and facilitate these 22-hour workshops.  The process is to take a Basic, Advanced and Training for Facilitators (3 weekend workshops).  Gate Clearance request must be submitted and approved to work in the prisons.  This can take up to two months to be approved.
